Very isolated (in a good way.) Staff very friendly and understanding. The room we stayed in was good. The food was excellent. The owner let us look round his collection of vehicles etc in his garage.

Our family absolutely loved this place and we regret having had only one night to stay here. The proprietor was very sweet and welcoming, the food excellent - you should have the smoked trout! - and the room was spotless, quiet and up-to-date with super-comfortable beds. We hope to return some day!

Fresh rainbow trout from its spring water tank. Prepared either with fried almond butter or simple white wine vinegar. Visit the cozy and small Martin’s chapel and the origins of Donau river at restaurant’s door step. :)

This restaurant and hotel is located exactly at the main origin of the Danube. The place is good and really cozy. Nice food and large selection of drinks and wine . Worth a visit after a day of hiking
